| Further a field, you can conveniently reach all the D-Day landing beaches. The British beaches can be accessed through Caen in about 60 minutes. The American beaches are reached through Carentan and are only 80 minutes from the house.We recommend you take in Point de Hoc; St Mere Eglise and the impressive American war cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer. |
